To provide a pulse current generator of sharp sinusoidal half-wave which can pulse-wise deflected, charged particles accelerated at a high velocity and excite a branching magnetic pulses.

A circuit constituted of a charging resistor 6 and a high speed switch 7 which are connected in series with a DC charging power source 5 is connected with a circuit constituted of a saturable reactor 1, a coaxial terminal 2 as a power supply output part to an inductive load and a diode 3, via a series connected cable 4. A first capacitor 8 is connected in parallel with the DC charging power source 5, and a second capacitor 9 is connected in parallel with the coaxial cable 4, thus constituting a pulse generator. The second capacitor 9 is charged by pulses from the DC charged first capacitor 8, via the high speed switch 7. The charges of the second capacitor 9 which are pulsecharged are pulse-discharged from the saturable reactor 1, via the coaxial terminal 2, to the inductive load. An inversion current is blocked by the series connected diode 3.
