Abstract:
To improve the image quality of an image formation apparatus.SOLUTION: A recording encoder processing unit 31 generates a discharge timing pulse on the basis of an encoder signal acquired from a rotary encoder 14. The recording encoder processing unit 31 includes a position counter 52, an adjustment time calculation unit 61, and a discharge time calculation unit 62. The position counter 52 calculates the position of a carriage (hereinafter, carriage position) on the basis of the encoder signal. The adjustment time calculation unit 61 calculates the adjustment time that is set in advance such that a value periodically changes with respect to the carriage position on the basis of the carriage position. The discharge time calculation unit 62 determines output timing by correcting the output timing of outputting the discharge timing pulse on the basis of the adjustment time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
