Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting pulse transformer in which the magnetic resistance of a magnetic path is reduced as much as possible under limited conditions.SOLUTION: A surface mounting pulse transformer 10 includes a drum core 11 having a winding core 11a, and a pair of flanges 11b, 11c provided at both ends of the winding core 11a, a planar core 12 arranged so as to come into contact with the lower surfaces of the pair of flanges 11b, 11c, respectively, and wires S1-S4 wound around the winding core 11a. The planar core 12 has a magnetic path cross-sectional area larger than that of the winding core 11a.
