Abstract:
PURPOSE:To apply a soft braking force by providing a brake controller which applies a specific pulse voltage to an electromagnetic disk brake according to the output signal of a pulse encoder. CONSTITUTION:A rodless cylinder device consists of a cylinder 21, a plate type member which links a driving body with a piston, a slit seal means, a nonexciting operation type disk brake 33 and an exciting operation type disk brake 34 which constitute the electromagnetic disk brake 32, a casing 337, the pulse encoder 343, the brake controller 347, etc. This controller 347 is equipped with an arithmetic decision control circuit 349, a pulse waveform selecting circuit 352, a pulse voltage generating device 353, etc. Then stop position data is inputted and said control circuit 349 detects its speed and position and also discriminates brake operation timing. Consequently, a pulse voltage is applied to an electromagnetic coil device 338 to apply the brake force to a driven shaft 28.
