Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved welding method between amorphous alloys or between an amorphous alloy and a crystalline material and to provide a welding material.
SOLUTION: The method is characterized by the welding in which part or all of the weld zone of the amorphous alloy is rapidly heated to a melting state accompanied by fluidization deformation of the weld zone by abutting amorphous alloy materials against each other or abutting an amorphous alloy on a crystalline material by pressing these materials and by flowing a pulsed current between the materials.
