Title:
PULVERIZED COAL FIRED BURNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08226615
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve combustion property and lower the height of the whole of a burner by a method wherein an oblong ignition stabilizing board is attached to the immediately rear part of the fuel injection port of a liquid fuel nozzle gun while an oblong air injection port is provided so as to surround the nozzle gun and ignition stabilizing board.

CONSTITUTION: A heavy oil nozzle gun 1, injecting heavy oil horizontally, is located at the center of a burner. An ignition stabilizing board 2 is oblong type and stabilizes ignition by forming eddy. An air injection port 3 is provided around the heavy oil nozzle gun 1 to supply secondary air to oil. A pulverized coal nozzle 4 is provided around the air injection port 3 and another air injection port 6 is provided around the pulverized coal nozzle 4 to supply secondary air to coal. A flame stabilizer 5 is provided so as to surround the whole periphery of the tip end part of the pulverized coal nozzle 4 to stabilize ignition and promote diffusion by contacting with air in a wide area from inside and outside of flame whereby combustion property is improved. On the other hand, the heavy oil nozzle gun 1 is formed in a shape incorporated into the pulverized coal nozzle 4 whereby the total height of the burner can be lowered.
