Abstract:
To provide a pulverized coal firing burner which can easily remove combustion ash adhering to a burner structure from the structure and, accordingly, can suppress the formation of clinkers.
In this pulverized coal firing burner provided with a pulverized coal nozzle 10 which blows out a mixture of pulverized coal and air and an air nozzle 11 which blows out air used for burning the mixture, an intermittent gas blowing-out means 30 which intermittently blows out a gas or a gas containing powder is installed to part of the flow passage constituting the pulverized nozzle 10 or air nozzle 11.
