Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrain the abnormal propagation of floating algae in the surface water of lakes and marshes by charging a tank filter with a pumice layer provided below its inflow port and supported by a perforated member, and installing a treated water receiving part below the perforated member.
CONSTITUTION: An inflow pipe 6 in which the surface water of lakes, marshes or the flowing water of rivers flows is fitted to the side wall of a tank filter 1. A sideways perforated member 9 is fitted to a filter part 7. A pumice layer 11 for filtering and removing floating algae or turbid matter in surface water or organic materials and turbid matter in river water is supported by a perforated member 9, and a treated water receiving part 12 is installed below the perforated member 9. A treated water distributing pipe 14 provided with a stop valve 13 is installed in the treated water receiving part 12. A washing water discharging part 16 opening at the upper part is formed around the filter part 7, and is provided successively to a turbid water precipitating tank 19 through a washing water distribution pipe 18 provided with a stop valve 17. A supernatant pipe 15 with a stop valve is provided on the side wall of the bottom part of the turbid water precipitating tank 19.
