Abstract:
To enhance use efficiency of light in a pump utilizing absorption.SOLUTION: A pump 100 comprises: a porous body 10 that partitions a first space and a second space and has pores whose pore diameter is 10 times or less of the mean free path of internal gas; a selective absorption film 16 that is arranged so as to face the porous body 10 in the first space, and has a different reflectance for light depending on the wavelength; and a cooler 18 arranged in the second space, for cooling the porous body 10. The pump can heat the first surface of the porous body 10 contacting with the first space, to transfer gas from the second space to the first space through the pores.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
