Abstract:
To provide a novel punch for caulking in which a load of a rivet onto a shaft is reduced, or to provide a device in which the novel punch for caulking, in which the load of the rivet onto the shaft is reduced, is arranged, or to provide a method for joining components by use of the novel punch for caulking in which the load of the rivet onto the shaft is reduced.SOLUTION: A punch for caulking joins a first component with a protrusion and a second component with an open hole fitting to the protrusion by plastically deforming the protrusion. A surface of the punch contacting the protrusion is inclined in a range of 80° or more and 89°or less with respect to a central axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
