Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching device which can improve the stopping accuracy to the target reference position.SOLUTION: A punching device 3 includes: a vertical motion conversion unit which converts the rotation of a punching shaft connected to a punching motor 32 into the vertical motion of a punching blade; a short-circuit switch 9 which short-circuits the terminals of the punching motor 32; a brake current detector 10 which detects the brake current flowing through the resistance between the terminals of the punching motor 32; a brake current comparison unit 62 which temporarily turns on the short-circuit switch 9 after punching processing and compares the brake current detection value detected by the brake current detector 10 with the preset brake current reference value; and a brake timing decision unit 63 which decides the timing of applying the short-circuit brake by turning on the short-circuit switch 9 on the basis of the comparison result of the brake current comparison unit 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
