PURPOSE: To simultaneously punch a pair of joint holes on a furring strip material used for a steel frame building by punching the joint holes to the furring strip material pressing a punching mechanism by a pressing board at the lower end of the rod of a pressing mechanism after the furring strip material is fed into a punching machine.

CONSTITUTION: The furring strip material 76 is fed into the punching machine 14 on the upper surface of a base plate 12 and plural joint holes are punched on the furring strip material 76 while the punching mechanism 42 supported by the punching board 14 is pressed by the pressing board 22 at the lower end of the rod 20 of the pressing mechanism 25. Consequently, two joint holes are punched drastically easily on the furring strip material of C-shaped steel in the lengthwise direction of the material or in the short width direction thereof.
