Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable machining that provides excellent dimensional accuracy and quality by positioning a punch and a support member horizontally, punching the support member using the punch, and punching a work using the punched support member as a dice.
SOLUTION: A distance G between the lower surface of a punch holder 38 and a surface 80u of an upper plate part 80a is set as small as possible, and a ram is operated to position the punch holder 38. Next, a punch 63 is lowered by a drive until its end passes through the upper plate part 80a, to form a hole 83 of the same diameter as the punch 63 in the upper plate part 80a. Next, the ram is operated to raise the lower surface of the punch holder 38 to position a green sheet 15 in a predetermined position, and the punch 63 is lowered by the drive until its end passes through the hole 83. Therefore, accurate punching can be achieved even if a protective sheet exists on the surface of the green sheet.
