Abstract:
To provide a pure water production device which does not have a complicated structure and which can easily reduce a cost when producing pure water.SOLUTION: There is provided a purified water production unit 1, including: an RO device 50 that obtains permeated water by passing raw water through a reverse osmosis membrane; and an ion exchange device 80 that passes the permeated water through an ion exchange resin for desalination and passes hot water through the ion exchange resin. Preferably, at least one of the following conditions is met for the ion exchange resin: a cation exchange resin has a strongly acidic exchange group, or an anion exchange resin has a strongly basic exchange group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
