Abstract:
PURPOSE: 2,3-Xylidine, useful as raw materials of pharmaceuticals, is purified by reacting the crude 2,3-xylidine with sulfuric acid affording 2,3xylidine sulfate, and after separating thereof, isolating the 2,3-xylidine from the sulfate by reacting with an alkoli.
