Abstract:
To provide a purified water producing method and a purified water producing apparatus which can sufficiently remove an organic substance from water to be treated while preventing pH of purified water from decreasing, can shorten the recovery time of chloride ion concentration, can provide the purified water at a low cost and are suitable for saving space.SOLUTION: There is provided a purified water producing method including: a step (1) of dividing water to be treated W1 containing at least bicarbonate ions and an organic matter into water to be treated W1A and water to be treated W1B; a step (2) of flocculating the water to be treated W1A with a flocculant to obtain treated water W2A; a step (3) of subjecting the water to be treated W1B to an ion exchange treatment in an ion exchange tower 42 filled with an anion exchanger 41 having chloride ions to obtain treated water W2B; and a step (4) of mixing the treated water W2A and the treated water W2B to obtain mixed treated water W2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
