Abstract:
To achieve an efficient column use.SOLUTION: A purifier includes: a first column C1 for specifically adsorbing an antibody by the flow of a supernatant containing the antibody; a valve B1 for supernatant and a valve B2 for cleaning fluid for replacing the supernatant with the cleaning fluid; a liquid supply pump P for supplying the supernatant and cleaning fluid to the first column C1; a second UV sensor S2 for sensing the outflow amount of the antibody from the first column C1 and a control device 101 in a subsequent stage of the first column C1. The control device 101 switches the valve B1 for supernatant and the valve B2 for cleaning fluid from the supernatant to the cleaning fluid to reduce the flow rate of the liquid supply pump P, by sensing that the outflow amount of the antibody from the first column C1 is a first value or more using the second UV sensor S2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
