Abstract:
To provide a purifying method of hydrogen, for removing carbon monoxide in hydrogen without the loss of a large quantity of hydrogen due to the reaction of hydrogen with carbon dioxide.
The purifying method of hydrogen comprizes using a multistage reactor using a platinum catalyst carrying a metal oxide in the most front stage and a ruthenium catalyst carrying a metal oxide in the most rear stage, supplying oxygen to each stage and oxygen-oxidizing carbon monoxide in hydrogen containing carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide to remove carbon monoxide.
