Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a push button switch capable of maintaining uniformity of a surface shape of a part attracted to a robot, etc. and accurately applicable against variations in a thickness of a solder paste printed on a printed circuit board.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the push button switch, in an arranging step in which a coil spring 19 and a plunger 14 for sliding by utilizing elastic energy of the coil spring 19 are arranged inside a housing 22. In a locking step, a square ring-shaped or substantially square ring-shaped cover 12 having a cavity H is attached so as to cover the housing 22, so that at least a portion of the plunger 14 is exposed from the cavity H and the plunger 14 is locked to the housing 22 while being biased toward an opening side of the cavity H. In an attaching step, a heat-resistant sheet 11 is attached in close contact with an exposed surface of the plunger 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
