Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a push button switch which can prevent peeling between a pressing portion and a thin movable portion, realize a thin shape of the pressing portion, and maintain low adhesiveness and high hardness of the pressing portion for a long term.SOLUTION: A push button switch member 1 includes: a pressing portion 10; a thin-walled movable portion 20 connected to the outer periphery of the pressing portion 10; and a base portion 30 connected to the outer periphery of the thin-walled movable portion 20. The pressing portion 10 and the thin-wall movable portion 20 are made of the same kind of a rubber-like elastic body. The method for manufacturing the push button switch member 1 in which the rubber hardness of a part 15 including at least a part of a top surface of the pressing part 10 is higher than the rubber hardness of other parts, includes: a step of forming an element body of the push button switch member 1; and an irradiation step of irradiating the part 15 of the pressing part 10 of the element body with the electron beam e to make the part 15 of the element body harder than the other part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
