Abstract:
To inform a user of a change in feel when a button is pressed.SOLUTION: A pushbutton device includes a first film portion 2 that is deformed by being pressed, a wall portion 3 provided on the back side of the first film portion 2, and a pressing space portion 12 formed between the first film portion 2 and the wall portion 3. A through passage 13 communicating with the pressing space portion 12 is formed in the wall portion 3. A second film portion 4 that is elastically deformed on the back side of the wall portion 3 in accordance with the pressure of the pressing space portion 12 is provided in the through passage 13. A magnetorheological fluid 5 is sealed in a space portion 16 ranging from the pressing space portion 12 to the second film portion 4 via the through passage 13. A magnetic field generator 6 capable of applying a magnetic field in the through passage 13 is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
