Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve coating properties by molding a putty spatula of a blade smoothing down putty by a rear and a grip holding the blade and making the thickness of the grip section of the grip thicker than the total thickness of the blade and a holding piece section.
CONSTITUTION: A putty spatula 11 is molded of a trapezoidal steel blade 12 having sides, one side of which is more inclined, and an approximately T-shaped grip 13 holding the blade 12. The grip 13 of the putty spatula 11 is constituted by laminating an upper member 17a and a lower member 17b, in which the grip 13 is divided by the plane of the blade 12 and which are made of rigid plastics. The thickness of the grip section 15 of the upper member 17a is made thicker than that of the grip section 15 of the lower member 17b, and a retaining hole 16 hooking the putty spatula 11 to a hook is formed at the rear end section of the grip section 15. Accordingly, a burden charged to a hand and the palm of the hand at the time of operation due to the thick grip section is reduced, and the coating properties of putty can be improved.
