Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PV power conditioner capable of supplying generated power to a system power source by efficiently operating a solar battery while widening a range of a DC voltage that can be inputted.SOLUTION: The PV power conditioner includes: an MPPT control section 15 for regulating a reference voltage V1ref so as to maximize output power P1 of a solar battery 2; and a chopper mode switching section 17 for switching an operation mode between a chopper drive mode and a chopper stop mode on the basis of a comparison result of comparing an input voltage V1 with a switching voltage threshold Vth higher than a reference voltage V2ref. In the chopper drive mode, an inverter control section 30 controls the switching operation of an inverter circuit 13 on the basis of a differential between an intermediate voltage V2 and the reference voltage V2ref. In the chopper stop mode, the inverter control section 30 controls the switching operation of the inverter circuit 13 on the basis of the differential between the intermediate voltage V2 and the reference voltage V1ref.
