Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A pyrazoleamide of formula I [R1 is alkyl; R2 is N, alkyl or alkoxy; X is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkoxy; or R2 and X form a group of formula II or III (R4 is H or alkyl); R3 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl, phenyl, alkylthio, etc., or forms a group of formula IV (R5 and R6 are H or alkyl) together with the adjacent R3; m is 1-3; n is 1-4].
EXAMPLE: N-[2-(4-n-Pentylphenoxy)ethyl]-4-chloro-3-ethyl-1-methyl-5- pyrazolecarboxamide.
USE: An insecticide or acaricide.
PREPARATION: For example, a compound of formula V is reacted with a compound of formula VI to provide the compound of formula I.
