Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I [R1 and R2 are H, lower alkyl or group of formula II (R3 is H, lower alkyl, OH, lower alkoxy, aralkyloxy, aryloxy or acyl); X is single bond or lower alkylene].
EXAMPLE: N-cyano-O-phenyl-N'-[3-(3-pyridyl)-1H,3H-pyrrolo[1,2-c]-thiazol-7- yl]isourea.
USE: A platelet activation factor(PAF) antagonistic agent.
PREPARATION: The objective compound of formula I can be produced by reacting an intermediate compound of formula III with an amine of formula IV. The intermediate compound of formula III is a novel substance and produced by reacting a 7-amino-3-pyridyl-1H,3H-pyrrolo[1,2-c]thiazole derivative of formula V with a N-cyanocarbonimidic acid diester of formula VI, etc.
