To allow stable feed of various materials, such as biomass and waste plastic, into a thermal decomposer without mixing air into the materials when the materials are continuously fed; to enable large reduction of running cost by eliminating the necessity of crushing, granulation etc. of the fed materials, making the apparatus simple, and suppressing power consumption.
A thermal decomposition apparatus for organic materials to be treated comprises crushed organic material to be treated charging hoppers 1, 2 that crush the respective organic materials to be treated and charge the respective crushed organic materials to be treated, quantitative feeders 3, 4 that are disposed under the respective storage hoppers, a feeder 5 that is disposed under the quantitative feeders 3, 4, and a thermal decomposer 6 that is connected to the feeder 5 and performs thermal decomposition, thereby enabling the continuous feed of the respective organic materials to be treated at a constant ratio into the thermal decomposer 6 through the respective quantitative feeders 3, 4.
