Abstract:
To provide a quality control method of a blast furnace coke capable of ensuring control to be appropriate in controlling coke quality on a daily basis.SOLUTION: In the quality control method of controlling the quality of the coke to be charged into a blast furnace, first, a correlation is determined in advance between an average particle size and a strength index of the coke at has a same dough strength, and a control standard is set for controlling the quality of the coke. In the correlation, the larger the average particle size, the lower the strength index. The control standard is set to be a state that the strength index of the coke is equal to or greater than the strength index corresponding in the correlation to the average particle size of the coke. Then, the average particle size and the strength index for the coke collected in the middle of a conveying path for conveying the coke to the blast furnace are measured, and it is determined whether or not the average particle size and the strength index satisfy the control standard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
