Abstract:
To provide a quantum dot light-emitting element that combines a low drive voltage and high luminous efficiency and a display device that is provided with the same quantum dot light-emitting element and has excellent luminescence characteristics.SOLUTION: A quantum dot light-emitting element 1 has a cathode 3, a light-emitting layer 6, and an anode 9. The light-emitting layer 6 is located between the cathode 3 and the anode 9. The light-emitting layer 6 includes quantum dots and a compound having an aromatic carbon ring or aromatic heterocyclic ring with a molecular weight of 500 or less.
