Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain high-speed picture processing arithmetic operation with simpler configuration than that of a conventional processing unit by solving a problem of complicated configuration of the picture processing unit when picture processors configured in parallel implement high speed picture processing arithmetic operation.
CONSTITUTION: Selectors 20-0-20-3 select respectively an overall arithmetic result S40 and any of 1st picture data IN10-IN13 and the selected data are respectively inputted to picture processing arithmetic circuits 30-0-30-3. The overall arithmetic result S40 is outputted from a result storage memory 40 connecting to the picture processing arithmetic circuit 30-3 at a final stage, and inputted to the selectors 20-0-20-3.
