PURPOSE: To provide a quaternized condensation product for a post treatment agent for fixing a die which consists of a trialkanolamine initial condensate, a carboxylic acid derivative and a benzyl halogenide and can ensure a high wet stiffness without loosing wear stiffness and light stiffness.
CONSTITUTION: This product consists of (A) an initial condensate consisting of one or a plurality of trialkanolamines of the formula I (R1-R3 are a 2-4C 1,2-alkylene), (B) either one of carboxylic acid or carboxylic acid derivative, carboxylic amide, epihalohydrine, monofunctional compound, and bifunctional compound of the formula II [(n) is 0 or 1; R4, R5 are hydroxyl, 1-8C alkoxy (they are bonded to form a 5-membered or 6-membered ring when (n) is 0), chlorine or bromine; R6 is a 1-50C alkylene]: 1-30 (mole) % to 1 mole of the component A, and (C) a benzyl halogenide of the formula III [(p) is 0-2; R11 is a 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy or the like]: 25-100% to 1 mole of the component A.
