Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a probability distribution of queue delay by inputting an arrival process and the average and dispersion of service time distribution.SOLUTION: The queue delay calculation device for calculating queue delay comprises: number in-system estimation means for calculating number in-system distribution by inputting a moment observation value up to the second-order of an arrival time to a queue to calculate a positive solution of diffusion approximation; and queue delay distribution calculation means for inputting the calculated number in-system distribution and a moment observation value up to the Nth-order (N≥2) of a queue service time to calculate queue delay distribution.
