Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a quick-coupling fitting capable of compensating for a seal even under high pressure differential at coupling work.
CONSTITUTION: A quick-coupling fitting to pipes comprises a female element and a male element that can be coupled together and are formed by fixed parts 3, 4, 6, 9; 29, 32, 35 and axially sliding parts 10, 15; 37, 44. This fitting is provided with a valve 71 for intercepting a communication port 79 between a conduit 65 and a passage port 78 to fluid in an initial stage of coupling work and for opening it in the final stage of the coupling work. A seal 40 of a fixed internal casing 32 is covered with the bush even in either axial position occupied by a sliding bush 10 in the initial stage and the final stage of the coupling work.
