Title:
RESIN PULLEY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3192082
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase wear resistance and thermal shock resistance by forming a resin material in which inorganic fibers, inorganic powder, organic fibers, and elastomer are mixed into phenol resin so as to form a resin pulley.
SOLUTION: A resin pulley main body 1 provided with a metal boss 1 is formed using a resin material obtained by mixing a phenol resin into inorganic fibers, inorganic powder, organic fibers, and elastomer. By mixing inorganic fibers into a phenol resin, a surface hardness can be increased and, by mixing inorganic powder into it, the surface condition is improved so as to increase an wear resistance. Also Young's modulus is reduced without lowering a tensile strength by mixing organic fibers and elaster into it so as to increase a thermal shock resistance. In this case, the ratio of content of each material is adjusted desirably at a 25 to 45% by weight for inorganic fiber, 3 to 7% by weight for inorganic powder, 3 to 7% by weight for organic fiber, and 3 to 10% by weight for elastomer.
