Abstract:

To obtain a new quinazoline derivative which has an IgE production- inhibiting action or IgE secretion-inhibiting action, and a proteoglycan production-promoting action in chondrocytes and is useful as an allergic disease treating medicine and a chondrocyte disease treating medicine.

A compound of formula I [G is methane or N; R1, R2 re each H, a (substituted) alkyl, a (substituted) alkenyl, a halogen, nitro or the like; R3, R4 are each H, a (substituted) alkyl, a (substituted) aryl or the like, or R3 and R4 form together with N to form a (substituted) cyclic amine; R5 is a (substituted) alkyl, a (substituted) alkenyl, (substituted) carbomoyl or the like], for example a compound of formula II. The compound of formula I can be produced, for example, by a method comprising reacting (A) a compound of formula III with (B) a compound of formula IV in an amount of 1 to 2 equivalents, more preferably 1 to 1.5 equivalents, based on the component A in the presence of (C) a base (for example, K2CO3) in (D) a solvent (for example, butanol) in the range from 0°C to the boiling point of the component D.
