Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber preform which is free from wrinkles, prevents an orientation direction of a fiber from being shifted, and has high precision.SOLUTION: An RTM molding method includes: a first step of cutting a fiber base material sheet having a two-dimensional shape to a shape obtained by adding overlapping margins 16a, 16b and 17a to a development form of an article 11 having a three-dimensional shape, laminating the cut sheets, and manufacturing laminated fiber base material sheets 13 and 14; a second step of overlapping the adjacent overlapping margins 16a, 16b and 17a of the laminated fiber base material sheets 13 and 14 each other, stitching the overlapping margins with a stitching thread, and manufacturing a fiber preform having a sagging portion in the periphery of three-plane mating portions 20 and 22; a third step of setting the fiber preform to a cavity of a molding die; and a fourth step of injecting a resin into the cavity of the molding die, and molding the article 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
