Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an operator of a model car to improve a tactical advantage or to protect a racing line by selecting a variable position in a track width.SOLUTION: The present invention describes a method and device for controlling a position of a vehicle on a track so as to provide a slotless racing vehicle game. The method includes a step of measuring a horizontal position of the vehicle on the track and minimizing a distance to a user regulating the horizontal position. A measured speed of the vehicle is fed back to a steering servo so as to stabilize the position of the vehicle at a desired horizontal position. Especially, a gain of a controller generating an input signal for the steering servo changes in response to an inverse number of the square of the vehicle speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
