This rack device 1 is formed by arranging side by side plural rod members 2 at designated spaces with each one end part thereof rotatably fitted to a turning base shaft 3, both end parts of the turning base shaft 3 are fitted to a wall surface W by a bracket 4 on the back side of a water faucet K, and the height of the rack device is set not to interfere with the water faucet K when the rod members 2 are turned to the horizontal position. When the rack device 1 is not used, the rod members 2 are set vertically to lean on the wall surface W, so that kitchen work will not be obstructed. When the rack device is used as a drainer rack or a temporary placing rack, the function can be instantaneously exhibited only by laying down the rod members 2 to be horizontal. Furthermore, since the respective rod members 2 can be turned independently, it will be sufficient to turn some rod members 2 horizontally, so it is possible to take the use mode of horizontally laying down only two rods 2, 2, separated from each other at a designated space.
