To provide a rack lifting type tableware cabinet having advantages such as suppressing the deterioration of rack hanging wires or preventing protrusion and twisting when the rack hanging wires are slackened, and facilitating disassembling and reassembling in a maintenance.

This rack lifting type tableware cabinet is so formed that, when mobile racks T3-T8 are lowered from rack hung state, a wire connecting part 31 rotationally turns around an eye end attaching shaft part 43a of a connecting shaft 43 of a rack connecting part 41 to the side of falling horizontally in a connecting part X. In this case, the wire connecting part 31 rotationally turns in a prescribed direction by the energizing force of a spring 58. With the turning of the wire connecting part 31, the rack hanging wire 30 gradually slackens to form an approximately semicircular loop along the vertical frame 22 of the rack T. Therefor, the rack hanging wire 30 is prevented from being intricately bent, projected to the inside of the cabinet 1 and caught between the respective racks T. The end of the rack hanging wire 30 is prevented from being acutely bent, and no-constrained force is applied thereto so as to reduce possibilities of the deterioration and damage of the end of the rack hanging wire 30.
