PURPOSE: To provide a racket frame which is lightweight, is highly strong, is formed with gut holes simultaneously with frame molding and is improved in production efficiency.

CONSTITUTION: A tube blank consisting of a thermoplastic synthetic resin and reinforcing fibers is used as a material 20 for molding the frame at the time of molding a frame body. A silicone tube 21 is inserted into this tube blank. As a result, two pieces of the materials 20, 20 for molding the frame are laminated and arranged within the cavities 33 of molds 30 in a ball hitting direction orthogonal with a gut extension direction. On the other hand, a gut extending member previously and successively provided and formed with plural gut holes 14 in the circumferential direction of the frame is positioned and arranged between the materials 20 and 20 for molding the frame in the cavities corresponding to the gut hole forming parts in the frame stringing parts of the molds 30.
