Abstract:

To provide a radar device for identifying a target of a rotator and a target of a non-rotator even when the targets exist within a beam width.

This radar device comprises a first FFT section 41 for fast-Fourier-transforming a beam, a threshold detecting section 42 for detecting a signal exceeding a predetermined threshold level from the signals separated for each filter bank by the FFT, a second FFT section 43 for fast-Fourier-transforming a beam, an angle measuring section 44 for measuring an angle based on a signal from the threshold detecting section and a signal from the second FFT section, a frequency width classifying section 45 for extracting the filter banks on the frequency axis corresponding to the width of the angle measuring value acquired by angle measurement, an IFFT section 46 for reversely fast-Fourier-transforming the extracted signals of the filter banks while the widths of the filter banks are varied, and a frequency width extracting section 47 for determining a target Doppler frequency width from the width of the filter bank where the value acquired by the reverse fast Fourier transformation becomes maximum and outputting it as identification information.
