Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device facilitating identification of a known observation object by displaying an attribute of the object on an image when displaying a high resolution image by a synthetic aperture radar.
SOLUTION: In the radar device comprising the synthetic aperture radar and a calibrator installed in a ground side, by providing an encoding notch filter in the calibrator, a suitable number of notches are inserted in a suitable position of a frequency spectrum of a chirp signal received in response to the observation object, and a frequency spectrum analyzer and a decoder are provided in the synthetic aperture radar and the positions and the number of the notches are detected to facilitate the identification of the attribute of the observation object.
