PURPOSE: To improve training effect by outputting an echo signal which contains a geography, a distance, and the constant variation of radio wave propagation additionally, and training an operator in an actual state through a radar simulator.
CONSTITUTION: The echo signal outputted by an echo signal generator 1 is supplied to a control attenuator 2 to control the amount of attenuation, obtaining a signal for the radar simulator. The control attenuator 2 is controlled with a simulation signal for a radio wave propagation constant variation state obtained by limiting a noise signal generated by a noise signal generator 3 to a necessary level by a limiter 4, and the signal containing the geography and distance additionally. The echo of a radio wave reflected by a body, i.e. the altitude value and azimuth angle value of the body are inputted to a geography ROM6 to retrieve the ROM7 for attenuation values together with a signal from a distance counter 9, and a corresponding attenuation value is added to a noise signal by an adder 5.
