Abstract:
To provide a radar which uses antenna elements for radiating radio waves and has a less width than the conventional radar on the occasion that its radome or lens is installed in front of the antenna elements.
The radar comprises a plurality of antenna elements 2a, 2b, 2c arranged in an array and a board 5. The antenna element 2b has an optical axis 3b normal to the board 5, the optical axis of the antenna element 2a intersects the optical axis 3b, and the optical axis of the antenna element 2c intersects the optical axis 3b. Accordingly, the optical axes 3a, 3c of the antenna elements 2a, 2c are arranged to dispose outside point inward.
