PURPOSE: To realize the radial line loop antenna in common use for a polarized wave with small size and high performance and whose transmission loss is small.
CONSTITUTION: A feeding means simultaneously supplies a vertical and a horizontal polarized wave respectively independently to a radial guide path, and an exciting wave having a vertical and horizontal polarized wave component propagated through the radial guide path with a very small transmission loss is respectively resonated with a vertical polarized wave loop element and a horizontal polarized wave loop element respectively. Each loop element 9 of the loop element array is arranged on concentric circles whose interval is λg (guide wavelength in radial guide path) around the feeding means, the vertically polarized wave loop element and the horizontally polarized wave element are formed by making the direction of gaps of adjacent loop elements 9 orthogonal to each other.
