Abstract:

To provide a radial tire for an aircraft making enhancement of internal pressure retaining property and reduction of tire weight compatible in the tire using a polyketone fiber cord as an organic fiber cord of a carcass ply, and its manufacturing method.

The radial tire for the aircraft is provided with a pair of bead cores 4 and the radial carcass. In the polyketone fiber cord, total strength T of the organic fiber cord of the carcass ply 5, the tire maximum width W and a tire outer diameter D satisfy a relationship of formula (1): T/W*D4.0106, and thermal contraction stress and modulus of elasticity E of the organic fiber cord satisfy a relationship of formula (2): -0.01E+1.2 and formula (3): 0.02. Rubber thickness gt on a perpendicular vertically descended to a radial carcass at a ground-contact end position of a tread part 1 and rubber thickness gb on a perpendicular vertically descended from a heel part of a bead part 3 to the radial carcass at a position of 1/4 of the tire cross section height satisfy a relationship of formula (4): gt0.5 (mm) and gb0.5 (mm) and formula (5): 0.5gt/gb1.5.
