PURPOSE: To prevent cooling stripes caused by the increasing pressure when premixed gas is supplied, and to increase the controllable range of the rate of combustion, by colliding supplied premixed gas against a reflective surface, and by leading the collided gas to the inside of a tip in the direction of the diameter of a tip by reflective action of the surface, in a radiant burner.
CONSTITUTION: A burner tile 1 is provided with a radiating surface F in the shape of a cup, and a supply route R for premixed gas is provided in the center of the bottom of the above-mentioned radiating surface F. A pilot burner 2 is provided in the position apart from the supply route R, while a tip 3 is provided to the end of a supply route R, in the state that it is projected from the radiating surface F, in order to change the direction of supplied premixed gas to supply it to the radiating surface F, as well as to disperse the gas in the circumferential direction. In such a manner, the premixed gas, radiated and changed its direction by the radiant surface 8, is flowed along the return surface F1, and its speed is decreased further in the recess 4 where is the outer edge of a surface F1. By decreasing of the speed, the stabilizing effect for flames can be heightened, as well as to prevent generation of cooling stripes. The premixed gas can be burned on the whole radiating surface, and the rate of radiant calorific value can be further increased in the radiant burner.
