Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image detector reduced in power consumption.SOLUTION: An image data generation part generating image data on the basis of an electrical signal output from each image detection pixel of a radiation image detector comprises: an amplifier part amplifying the electrical signal output from each image detection pixel; and a data processing part converting the electrical signal amplified by the amplifier part into the image data. The amplifier part and the data processing part are configured to supply operation power independently. The control part of the radiation image detector stops the supply of the operation power to the data processing part, for a period before irradiation with radiation is detected by an irradiation detection part, in an irradiation detection mode and shifts to a photographing mode, to start the supply of the operation power to the data processing part, when the irradiation with the radiation is detected by the irradiation detection part.
