Abstract:

To provide a radiation image photographing device which detects the beginning of radiation emission in the device itself and removes undesirable influence of periodical increase or decrease of density for image data resulting from reset batch processing.

The radiation image photographing device 1 includes a plurality of radiation detection elements 7, switch means 8 which are arranged for each radiation detection element 7, a scanning drive means 15 for switching a voltage that is applied to scanning lines 5, a current detection means 43 for detecting a current which flows on a bias line 9 that supplies a bias voltage to each of the radiation detection elements 7, and a control means 22 for detecting the beginning of radiation emission based on the detected current value. The control means 22 repeats reset processing of the radiation detection elements 7 with sequentially switching scanning lines 5 that are applied with an on-voltage from the scanning drive means 15, stops switching of the scanning lines 5 that are applied with the on-voltage when detecting the beginning of radiation emission, and applies an off-voltage to each of the switching means 8 to allow the radiation detection elements 7 to store a charge generated in them.
