Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a long image suitable for the homogenous diagnosis of graininess.SOLUTION: A long radiographing range is radiographed (n) times (wherein n is a natural number of 2 or above) in (n) radiographing ranges set by dividing the long radiographing range so that the imaging surfaces of FPD are partially overlapped with each other. A dose index value calculation part calculates the dose index values of the overlapped regions of X-ray images obtained in respective radiographings. A cassette control part provides an irradiation stop threshold value converted from the dose index value of the (k-1)th (k=2, 3, 4, ..., n) radiographing calculated by the dose index value calculation means to an electronic cassette as the irradiation stop threshold value of the k-th radiographing. The AEC part of the electronic cassette stops the irradiation of X-rays of the k-th radiographing if the integrated value of the dose detected from the detected pixels present in the overlap regions OLof the (k-1)th and k-th radiographings reaches the irradiation stop threshold value provided from the cassette control part.
