Title:
RADIATION INTENSIFYING SCREEN AND RADIATION IMAGE CONVERSION PANEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09236698
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve a power of dispersion of resin for a fluorophor and to obtain a radiation intensifying screen being excellent in sharpness and graininess by using a binder containing resin having a hydrophilic polar group.

Resin having a hydrophilic polar group is used for a radiation intensifying screen having on a substrate a fluorophor containing fluorophor particles dispersed in a binder. This resin has one or more kinds of hydrophilic polar groups constituted of-SO3M,-OSO3M,-COOM,-PO(OM')2 and-OPO(OM')2 (where M is a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom of Li, K, Na or the like). By adsorption of the polar group on the surface of the fluorophor, the property of dispersion of the flurophor particles is improved, cohesion of the fluorophor particles is prevented and thereby coating stability, sharpness and graininess are improved.
